Singapore June 2014 – Art enthusiasts and eminent guests were treated to a feast of over 100 Art creations on the very special night at ION Art gallery. Amongst the artworks are 41 one-of-a-kind creations crafted by renowned artists from the region which were up for a charity silent auction.
The Büffel Art Auction was a test to the guests of how fast their fingers could react. This is so as the Auction was hosted online, and guests had to use their smart phones to outbid one another. With an on the spot update system, guests could also witness the bid amounts increasing.
The Auction ended with $40,000 raised that night and $50,000 collected throughout the entire project. All funds raised go towards VSA Singapore.
The artwork with the highest bid is “The Golden Boy (Cut Down to Size) by the artist, Ren Zi.
For the most of us Braun Büffel is synonymous with quality craftsmanship. However, the brand has now another proof that art has the power to transform lives.
