Singapore 20 May 2014 – German leather goods brand, Braun Büffel organised a leather products crafting workshop at VivoCity, allowing the invited guests to try their hands at crafting their very own leather piece.
In conjunction with the Büffel Art Project, a charity initiative organised by Braun Büffel, the brand wishes to highlight the art and painstaking efforts behind crafting leather goods. Established since 1887, Braun Büffel has a rich heritage in designing and producing top quality leather goods. Focusing on the rich heritage, the brand set-up an Atelier at VivoCity where invited fans and friends were given the opportunity to experience the craftsmanship behind producing a leather piece.
The Atelier introduces the basics steps of leather crafting through making simple everyday products like mobile case, iPad mini-sized clutch, key fob, passport holder and card holder. Starting from scratch, invited guests go through the steps of cutting, hole-punching and stitching to finish their products.
The workshop registration fee of S$30 collected from participants over 6 – 9 May (Tuesday – Friday) will be entirely donated to Very Special Arts Singapore (VSA Singapore) the chosen beneficiary of Büffel Art Project 2014.
